1. Aims And Objectives Of The Organizations

  • Design and develop curriculae according to requirement of Industry/Organisation.
  • Revise the curriculae of the existing programs periodically as per requirement of Industry/Organisation.
  • To grant of affiliation to the institutions as approved by AICTE for Diploma level and the closure of Institution/course.

2. Mission

To ensure that the Diploma Level Technical Education constantly matches the latest requirements of Technology, Industry and Organization, including the all-round personal development of students, and to become globally competitive, technology led organization.

3. Vision

To upgrade the Technical Education by focusing on the resources relevant to latest Technologies, and connecting all sections of the societies.

4. Brief History And Background For Its Establishment:

B.T.E. was established in 1963-64 with the twin objectives of conducting Diploma/Post Diploma examinations of various strems (Engg./occupational courses) of the students and certification after the declaration of result. The BTE was entrusted with the job of revising curriculum in order to keep pace with time and grant of affiliation to the privately managed Technical Institutions and their certification later on.

6. Duties To Be Performed To Achieve The Mission:

Board of Technical Education by and large performing its duties with efficacy, diligently and honestly to achieve the desired mission.

7. Details Of Services Rendered:

Primarily student community is being served by and large in the conduct of free and fare semesters (odd & even) and annual examination, declaration of results, issue of Mark-sheets, Diploma Certificates ,Migration Certificates,Transcript,  verification of result and diploma certificate in the stipulated time.

8. Public Interaction

B.T.E. entertains public interaction (between 10-00 AM to 1-00 PM and 2-00 PM to 5-00 PM) on various issues raised by them and try to dispose off their problems in the time bound manner. A help desk is also in function at ground floor from10-00 AM to 1-00 PM and 2-00 PM to 5-00 PM.

12. Working Hours Both For Office And Public:

Usual office hours i.e. 9.30 AM to 6.00 PM (with a lunch break of half an hour 1.30 PM to 2.00 PM).

*As per Board's rule, application for retotalling can be submitted with in 30 days from declaration of result.

** As approved by the Board, application for seeking photo copies of answer sheet can be submitted between the period from 46th to 90th day after declaration of result.

Joint Director(Admn.)TTE as F.A.A., OSD(BTE) as PIO and Incharge(Exam) as APIO is designated to provide information.

Allocation of budgets of plan and non-plan, calculation of income tax, liaison with pay and account office, finance department & gpf cell.
